0050 Cielo Drive, Benedict Canyon, part of Beverly Crest, north of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California.

Also known as the Tate-Polanski residence, 10050 Cielo Drive was the address where Charles Manson sent his zombie-like followers out to commit the most notorious murders of the century.

The house was torn-down in 1994 and the numeric address has been changed to 10066 Cielo Drive.

At the time of the murders the home was owned by Rudolph Altobelli, a music and film industry talent manager who often rented it to other celebrities.

In February 1969, Roman Polanski and his wife Sharon Tate began renting the home from Altobelli.

On August 9, 1969, the home became the scene of the murders of Tate, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger, Jay Sebring, and Steven Parent at the hands of Manson and his followers.
