Diane Von Ahn
Diane Von Ahn (aka Mary Ann Schwarm)

Diana Marie Von Ahn
Diane Von Ahn was born on either October 1, 1948 or November 16, 1950 (two dates are listed on records of known associates). Diane was born Truckee, California and was 5 foot 6 inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair according to her arrest records. She joined the Family after arriving with William “Rex” Cole from Oregon, was arrested at the Barker Ranch when the Inyo County sheriff department, California Highway Patrol, and National Park Service raided the ranch on October 10 and October 12, 1969. She later moved with another Manson Family member named Vern Plumlee.
Diane was thought to have had a resemblance to an unidentified white female who went missing on or around November 14, 1969. Jane Doe 59, as the victim was labeled for over 46 years turned out to be Reet Jurvetson, a 19-year-old from Montreal, who had recently moved to Los Angeles. For many years people researching the case suspected that the victim could have been Diane Von Ahn. To this day Jurvetson’s murder is speculated to have a possible connection to the Manson Family: she had been stabbed over 150 times and was found off Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, California.
According to relatives, after Ahn left the Manson family she returned to Oregon and dated a man who raced cars. After their break-up she joined a member of the local Gypsy Joker biker gang. She unfortunately died in 1973 in a tragic racing accident.
