Bryan Lukashevsky (aka Bryn, Lukas, Bryan Lukas, Bryn Lesue, Bryan Leslie)

Bryan Leslie Lukashevsky was born on January 28, 1948 in Los Angeles, California. Little is known about Lukashevsky outside of the fact that he made a list of known associates of the Manson Family.
Bryan Lukashevsky was born on January 28, 1948 in Los Angeles, California. From his booking information he was about six foot tall, approximately 160lbs, and living in Topanga, California at the time of his arrest.
Little is known about Lukashevsky outside of the fact that he enjoyed surfing, was very good friends with Beach Boy Dennis Wilson and made a list of known associates of the Manson Family which was compiled by Lieutenant Earl Deemer in the days leading up to the arrests for the Tate-Labianca murders.
The reason for Lukashevsky showing up on the list is not clear but one would expect that if he made the list he was likely involved with the group more than has been proven over the years, even if only to stay at the ranch for the many woman there. Alternatively, this could also be as simple as Lukashevsky having been observed arriving or leaving the Spahn Ranch, particularly around the time the ranch was under surveillance before the raid, however, this too is only speculation.
According to a March 2012 interview on a radio podcast show hosted by Brian Davis in which Davis relates talking to Bryan Lukashevsky provided he wouldn’t be on the air, Lukashevsky said that he was a very close personal friend of Dennis Wilson and that Wilson knew things about the Manson group as well as the motive for the murders. Lukashevsky also said that he himself may someday write a book and reveal the things he knows.
Although it has been long speculated that his mugshot was obtained from the raid at Spahn Ranch, he told Davis the he was not present at the raids and that he met Charles Manson just once at Dennis Wilson’s home and that was all the contact he ever had with Manson. He also eluded that meeting him just once was plenty enough. Strangely, Lukashevsky told Davis that one day soon, the time will be right for the real story to come out, yet he did not elaborate on that.
When it comes to Lukashevsky, there has also been speculation for a connection with drug dealer Bernard “Lotsapoppa” Crowe with some believing that Lukashevsky was present the day Crowe was shot in his apartment, or that he might have been a bodyguard for Crowe, however there is no corroboration of this fact.
State Divorce records show that Bryan L. Lukashevsky divorced Alice B. Colman in June of 1974 in Los Angeles. It is believed that he has two children, retired from the film and television industry and has been living a productive life in Honolulu, Hawaii since 1975. According to State voting records Lukashevsky voted at Kawananakoa Middle School in Honolulu in 1996. His name also appears in state documents as signing in support of Hawaii Senate Bill 270, relating to the minors and protecting LGBTQ values as recently as 2018.
